I have found that the aging process is very much like regaining a child’s perspective between mind, hand and paper.  A certain freedom and spontaneity returns.  A robust sense of self comes with life experiences. This allows me to work for the pleasure of expressing these feelings and developing a sense of freedom and imagination.

Nothing expresses this wonder more beautifully than the human form. To take muscle, soft flesh, the line and curve of the body, and bring the life and energy you are seeing to paper is magical. I hope my work conveys this sense of wonder.
